Ash

This medicinal plant belongs to the family Oleaceae and its scientific name is Fraxinus excelsior.
Ash is a tall tree, armed with short thick trunk and branches from 3 m.
The bark is smooth and gray-green or yellow, when the ash is old may have wrinkles and cracks.
The leaves of this herb are composed of leaflets ovate and slightly jagged edges. They are light green in the beam and slightly stormy on the underside.
This plant medicinal is laxative, diuretic, ant rheumatic, anti-inflammatory.

Recipes from this herb:

Cooking: a decoction of 40 gr. Fraxinus excelsior leaves per liter of water is a gentle and effective laxative. You should drink a cup at bedtime and again on rising fasting.
If you want smoother results sheet can be replaced by bark.

Ant rheumatic and diuretic as a decoction prepared by boiling for 10 minutes, 20 gr. Fraxinus excelsior leaves in a liter of water. You drink a cup after each meal.

A decoction mixed at 10 gr. leaves and 10 gr. Ash bark, taken hot, is an effective febrifuge and tonic.
