This herb is native to India and the Middle East grows in sandy areas. Its scientific name is Portulaca oleracea, and belongs to the family Portulacaceae. This plant is also known by the names: Purslane, Verdolaga, Pigweed, Little Hogweed, or Pusley; among others. This plant can be eaten as a vegetable because their stems, leaves, and flowers are edible, can be eaten raw or cooked. Its bittersweet taste is nice and is part of the cuisine of many countries Purslane. Common Wheat is an annual plant that grows upright, about a meter high.
The flowers grow in a bouquet, consisting of a more or less dense spike may be short or long, depending on the different species of wheat.
