Buchu is an herb native to South Africa.
The scientific name is Barosma Buchu betulina.
This medicinal plant belongs to the family Rutaceae.
This herb is a shrub that reaches 2 m. high.
Its leaves are oval, opposite, and slightly hairy.
All Buchu plant gives off an aroma blend of peppermint and rosemary.
Parts of Buchu used for medicinal purposes are the leaves.
This herb is composed of essential oil, flavonoids, diosfenol, limonene, isomenthone, pulegone, B vitamins, mucilage. Tannins, among other compounds.
Buchu, along with bearberry, is one of the most effective herbs that are known to successfully treat inflammatory diseases of the urinary organs.
This herb is indicated for varicose veins, hemorrhoids, capillary fragility, inflammatory conditions, cystitis, urethritis, urethritis, prostatitis, bronchitis, pharyngitis, hyperuricemia, gout, hypertension, edema, fluid retention.
It is very important not to exceed recommended doses because the Buchu may cause irritation of the urinary tract.
The use of diuretics in the presence of hypertension or heart disease should be done only by prescription and under medical supervision, given the possibility of occurrence of decompensation tension.

For internal use: you can prepare a tea made with 50 gr. Buchu leaf in a quart of water. Take 3 cups of tea each day. For urethral washings can be used the same infusion
It recommends taking 20 drops of extract of Buchu (Barosma betulina L.) in a glass of water or juice, 2-3 times per day.
It may take 1 to 2 gr. per day of dried leaves of Buchu.
Infusion, it can take 1 to 2 gr. Buchu for each cup of water 3 times daily.
In dyeing, it may take 2 to 4 ml 3 times daily.

The Common walnut has the scientific name Juglans regia, and belongs to the plant family Juglandaceae.
The Walnut tree is also known as “plant nut“, as the walnut fruit is the “nut”.
Walnut cultivation is ancient. It is grown for good timber, the edible fruit (the nut), and also as an ornamental plant. It is a medicinal tree known in the world.
The walnut tree is a tree that grows 25 to 35 m. high. The trunk of the walnut can reach 2 m. in diameter or more.
Juglans regia leaves are large and composed of reddish color when spring and are transformed into dark green.
This herb has female flowers and male flowers. The women are red and the male are purple-green.
The female flowers form globular fruit commonly known as nut.

The scientific name of Caper is Capparis spinosa.
This medicinal plant belongs to the family Capparaceae.
The caper also can be called with the name: capers, alcaparrera, alcaparrero, alcaparrilla, alcaparronero, Caparra Caparrones, Capri, bean devil tapenera, Devil Bat, among others.
This medicinal plant is a shrub native to the Mediterranean.
With drooping branches that can reach 22 cm or more in length, has thick, rounded leaves. The branches of this herb have very sharp spines, up to 1 cm long.
Capers are medicinal plants that have white flowers with long stamens born at intersections of leaves with the stem, supported by regular stems.
Each plant Caper can produce between 0.5 and 3 kg of fruits (capers). When they are ready for collection, are the size of a grain of corn, and dark green.
