The horseweed is a medicinal plant belonging to the Asteraceae family.
Is originally from South America and Central America.
The scientific name of this medicinal plant is Conyza bonariensis.
The horseweed is also known as the fleabane, hairy horseweed, flax-leaf fleabane, wavy leaf fleabane and rough conyza.
Parts of this medicinal plant used for medicinal purposes, are the aerial parts of the herb.
With respect to its properties, the horseweed is a medicinal plant which is very good in cases of ulcers, diuretic, healing, refreshing, is also febrifuge, anthelmintic, insecticide, anti-rheumatic, anti diarrheal, anti-ulcer gastric, liver protector against diseases venereal diseases and urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, leaves as a poultice externally as a wound disinfectant, against the hemorrhoids, vermifuge.
The horseweed is mainly composed of: flavonoids, organic acids, tannins, alkaloids, essential oil, lemon, di terpene, terpineol and choline.

Internal use:
The infusion of horseweed and flowers to 1%, states such as liver decongestant. It should take 2-3 cups per day.
The infusion at 3-4% is used as a diuretic in diseases of the genitor-urinary and urethral washings.
The decoction of the whole plant to 10% is used as purifying ant rheumatic, primarily to eliminate uric acid.
External use:
Decoction, use one tablespoon per quart of water, and let it boil for 3-5 minutes. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.
Poultice: leaves are used externally as a poultice for disinfection of wounds, against the hemorrhoids, and vermifuge

The scientific name of this herb is Punica granatum L. The Pomegranate belongs to Punicaceae family. The grain is one of the oldest cultivated fruit trees in the Iberian Peninsula. It is a medicinal plant native to the East but in many areas has already been naturalized. As bonsai, Punica granatum L was the most popular of the nineteenth century among deciduous trees, as it allowed having trees in flower. The Egyptians, Phoenicians, Greeks and Romans speak of the great symbol of wealth and fertility. This medicinal plant is a tree of 3-5 m. high, is outdated and very resistant to drought conditions. The flowers of Punica granatum L are orange, very large and showy. They are hermaphroditic (all flowers have the ability to develop into fruit.) The fruit of these medicinal plants is a great soft, about 9 or 10 cm in diameter, it becomes golden bright mature. The fruit of this plant is called “pomegranate“, which is large, spherical and is formed by hundreds inside each seed covered by a juicy pulp usually red, and slightly acidic. The parts used for medicinal purposes of this herb are the root bark, stem bark, flowers, leaves, and peel the fruit (pomegranate). The scientific name for lemon is Citrus limonum Risso.
This medicinal plant belongs to the plant family Rutaceae.
The lemon tree is a small tree, known as lemons.
The trunk is irregular with uneven branches.
The lemon tree leaves are 6-8 cm. long.
The flowers of this herb are solitary or in axillary pairs, dyed red exterior, also the shoots. The fruit known as lemon is acidic, yellow, oval, and 8-10 cm. long.
Lemon essential oil is composed, myrcene, limonene, alcohols, Linale, nerol, geraniol, citronellyl, citropteno acid, hesperidin, pectin, citric acid, among others.

Infusion: An infusion of lemon leaves antispasmodic and is very good for colds, indigestion and dizziness.
Lemon juice is antirheumatic, and can take up to 3 cups per day.
A tablespoon of lemon juice in a cup of hot tea is possessed of several virtues: against gases, headache and dizziness, heart palpitations, bile and fight fever.
Tea: Tea is sweetened lemon seeds vermifuge (intestinal parasites).
Mascara: fresh lemon juice applied on the face protects the skin from the weather.
A whole lemon in a pint of boiled water and then sweetened with honey is very good for the flu and colds.
